星期天好大家!(Hello Sunday). Today (August 4, 2019), I and my roommates woke up so early (around 7.00 AM). Today all participants were provided an opportunity to travel anywhere or do anything independently for seeing and learning Taiwan culture. At 8.00 AM in the morning, we got on the MRT (subway and sky train) heading to the Dragon and Tiger Tower. The tower represents the way to heaven according to Chinese people. There are 2 gates to walk by as follows Dragon gate and Tiger gate. We spent around 1 hour there and then, in the afternoon, we went back to MRT for heading to the IKEA shopping mall. At the shopping mall, we were provided an opportunity to walk around and find things to buy as a souvenir. Today was a very wonderful day because we had seen many new and different things from Thailand, for example, the building, culture, lifestyle, and etc. We had learned Taiwan culture a lot from this free-day activity the camp provided us.

The DIY bamboo basket is so easy to make, let's see my hand-made basket.  In the afternoon, we had another interesting activity as well. It is a DIY Lucky Bracelet workshop. We had an opportunity to make our own DIY lucky bracelet. Each color, pattern, and the number of beads we used has a different meaning. We took around 4 hours to finish our bracelet, and then got on the bus and returned to the...

Today morning we are going to take a bus heading to Chimei Museum where many sculptures, musical instruments, pictures, to name but a few, were gathered for telling the history of Taiwan.  This morning all participants had to have breakfast on the bus due to the long distance of the museum so we have not much time to have it at the university. We had taken around 50 minutes to arrive at the museum. We have been provided for 2 hours to walk around. Unfortunately, taking pictures in the museum is prohibited so we have no picture inside the museum to share here. However, we have taken lots of pictures outside the museum, let see! In the afternoon, we got on the bus again heading to the Saba-fish Exhibition Center & Yuguang Island. We took around 1 hour to reach the exhibition center.
