Thai-Taiwan Exchange Student Experience: Day 8
星期天好大家!(Hello Sunday). Today (August 4, 2019), I and my roommates woke up so early (around 7.00 AM). Today all participants were provided an opportunity to travel anywhere or do anything independently for seeing and learning Taiwan culture.
At 8.00 AM in the morning, we got on the MRT (subway and sky train) heading to the Dragon and Tiger Tower. The tower represents the way to heaven according to Chinese people. There are 2 gates to walk by as follows Dragon gate and Tiger gate.
We spent around 1 hour there and then, in the afternoon, we went back to MRT for heading to the IKEA shopping mall. At the shopping mall, we were provided an opportunity to walk around and find things to buy as a souvenir.
Today was a very wonderful day because we had seen many new and different things from Thailand, for example, the building, culture, lifestyle, and etc. We had learned Taiwan culture a lot from this free-day activity the camp provided us.
