Thai-Taiwan Exchange Student Experience: Day 7

星期六好大家！(Hello Saturday). Today (August 3, 2019), I and my roommates work up around 7.30 AM. After that, we went downstairs to get on the bus heading to Tainan. Today we have been provided a cultural experience with DIY indigenous arts. We had taken about 2 hours to touched the Tainan Cultural Center.

After our arrival, we got a very warmed welcome from the locals. The first activity that we were provided is a DIY Bamboo Basket Workshop. At first, we thought that making a bamboo basket is so difficult that we may not be able to make it, but our thought was wrong. The DIY bamboo basket is so easy to make, let's see my hand-made basket. 

In the afternoon, we had another interesting activity as well. It is a DIY Lucky Bracelet workshop. We had an opportunity to make our own DIY lucky bracelet. Each color, pattern, and the number of beads we used has a different meaning. We took around 4 hours to finish our bracelet, and then got on the bus and returned to the university.
